level as mentioned above and supervises the said work directly or supervises the said inspection directly;
(c)Any person listed in the following (。) or (「) or recognized by the Minister of Transport to have an ability not less than the level as listed below and selected in order to perform the confirmation of the provisions of Article 17 paragraph 3 accordance with the provisions of Article 30 by the person who obtained the recognition (hereinafter referred to as “chief inspector”).
(。) Any person having the airman certification as an aircraft factory mechanic with the qualification corresponding to the scope of repair or alteration with respect to the specifications under the provisions of Article 30-(5) and having the experience of not less than three years as to the practice relating to the manufacture, repair or alteration of components at the said business premises;
(「) Any person who was graduated from a university under the School Education Law (Law No. 26, 1947) or the Former University Ordinance (Imperial Ordinance No. 388, 1918), the college under the Former College Ordinance (Imperial Ordinance No. 61, 1903) or a school designated by the Minister of Transport to be at a level not less than the level as mentioned above, after completing the necessary curriculum as to the course of study related to machinery and such person having not less than three years experience for the graduate of university (except the graduate of junior college under Article 109 of the Supplement to School Education Law) under School Education Law or Former University Ordinance and having not less than five years experience for others with
respect to the manufacture, repair or alteration of components at the said business premises.
(3)The inspection system in compliance with the following standard shall
be available;
a)The systems relating to the acceptance, intermediate and completion inspections of components in order to perform repairs or alterations regarding the recognition, acceptance inspection of materials, parts and components, calibration of the equipment for work and inspections ensuring the uniformity of the completed repair and alteration, and the control and operation of drawings, standards, specifications and other materials necessary for inspections, shall be available.
b)An organization for implementing a system of operations for inspection shall be available independent from the organization for work or repair or alteration in reference to the recognition;
c) Chief inspector shall belong to the organization for implementing the system of operations for inspection.
(4)The system to control materials, parts and components, with measures to prevent the possibility of defective parts or components being mixed with quality assured parts or components shall be available.
(5)Adequate control shall be made to the processes of repair or alteration of components relating to the recognition.
